About Us

CCTA (Creative Cultural Tours Asia) is an Australian registered company operating in Indonesia in conjunction with several training locations on the island of Lombok.
CCTA was founded in 2002 and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Mataram, Lombok for the purpose of conducting intensive Indonesian Language Programs with a cross cultural training component in order to prepare professionals and individuals to work, live and interact efficiently in an Indonesian environment. CCTA was initially founded by Lucretia Prang, an Australian German born Anthropologist who has spent 10 years working and researching in Indonesia.
The Artist in Residence Program was established in 2009 by Lucretia Prang and her partner Ismiadi, a contemporary expressionist from Lombok who has worked partly in Australia for several exhibitions. Ismiadi is a member of ARTSOURCE, Western Australia.
